    About this item

A small, wooden mould in the shape of a shell. This is quite a fascinating mould. Many wooden moulds of this size were for butter but it would be very difficult to get butter out of this example. It could have been for biscuits. It is well carved, in beechwood, and it dates from c.1860. There is a number ‘2’ carved into the end of the handle. There is slight staining to the exterior of the rim of the mould but the mould is in excellent condition.

    Dimensions: Diameter 6.8cm. Height 5cm.

Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £10. Most of Western Europe add £5.
