    About this item

An unusually small, wooden mould for making a hand raised pie. This would be used for making an individual pork pie. The mould is placed in the centre of a small circle of pastry and the pastry is then raised around the sides of the mould. The mould is removed, the pie filled, and a pastry lid put in place. The wood has a lovely honey colour and good patination.
