Georgian Leather Wing Antique Armchair

This is an 18th Century Georgian leather wing armchair of nice smaller proportions than most, with curved wings and scroll over arms. Standing on slightly square chamfered legs. Upholstered in a green hide ….. with close brass studded detail to the leading edges.

The hide is in good condition …. no tears or repairs. Has a lovely aged patina, and probably recovered in the last century. The seat swab has been replaced as the original was too badly worn… yet to great effect to match in with the existing (the photos don’t do the chair justice). The frame is of sound condition with no loose joints or repairs.

Very comfortable and accommodating without being of the larger size.

The seat size is 18" X 21" Height 44" Overall width (outer arm to outer arm 30")

Depth including the rake to the back 30"

Condition : Structually very good, Upholstery good, signs of wear and cracking to arms but no fragile pieces.
