A large and stunning Royal Worcester " The Bather Surprised" porcelain figure.
It is modelled by Sir Thomas Brock.
The figure is of a semi-draped maiden beside a tree stump, with a blue robe with gilded highlights,
It has the puce mark for 1919 and model number 486.
Height: approx 38 cms
Width: approx 24 cms
In excellent overall condition with only a 2 cms loss of gilt mark and minor scuff marks to the base.
There is restoration to the fingers of the right hand. The blue and gold colouring is vivid and in excellent condition.
A delightful piece.
