About this item
A pair of very elegant, reclaimed, Victorian pine doors for internal use. The doors have a traditional design, each with a recessed panel at the base with decorative mouldings around them. The doors have elegant gunstock stiles. The top half of each door has a large panel fitted with lovely Art Nouveau stained glass. The glass has good colour and features a stylistic flower in the centre, surrounded by rippled glass and a blue border. The doors have a rebated inner edge so they sit nicely together. The doors have been painted white but there are some marks and chips and you may wish to sand and re-paint the doors to suit.
The doors have some signs of use and wear, as expected of reclaimed antiques, and they are suitable for internal use only. One door has a twist at the top and the other has a twist at the bottom. The doors will therefore need to be adjusted by your builder / carpenter when hanging them, please contact us should you require any further information about this. There is a small crack to one of the yellow pieces of stained glass. The solid base panels have some splits. The pine has some knocks, chips and indentations. The doors have some holes and marks from hardware removal. Please see pictures for condition details. The doors have a very pretty appearance, ideal for a period property and they will make a fantastic feature for the home.
