DB0770 RECLAIMED PINE OLD POST OFFICE DOOR INTERNAL / EXTERNAL

A characterful reclaimed old post office door, suitable for internal or external use. The door has a nice traditional appearance with three panels at the base, recessed on one face and flush on the other. The top half of the door has six panels for glazing. We can glaze the door for an EXTRA CHARGE. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and for a quote. The door has a drip bar on one face and on the other face of the door there are two metal plates, perhaps used to display post collection times. The pine has been stripped but there is some residue paint visible and you may wish to sand the door further before you apply a finish to suit. The door has a lock with a key.

The door is reclaimed and has some signs of use and age, as expected. The door has some knocks and chips. There are some surface cracks in the wood and some of the door joints have some slight separation. The pine has some staining, marks and colour variation. The door hinges are rusty and have seized and you will need to replace them. The door has some holes and marks where door furniture has been removed. The metal door plates have some surface rust. The door has a twist of approximately 7mm, however an experienced fitter should be able to fit the door. Please contact us should you require further information about the twist.
