About this item
A small rare archaistic Chinese bronze censer. Raised on four tiny feet, the rectangle form with chamfered corners, both sides featuring what appear to be stylized dragons within squares in the center, the fitted cover with six pierced apertures surmounted by a pierced final and four tiny "teeth". Overall patina with malachite green and butterscotch encrustation. This is a Zhou dynasty (1046 BC – 256 BC) style incense burner dates early 19th century or older. Good stable condition.
